اثرات مکمل غذایی مانان-الیگوساکارید بر دفع ویروس در ماکیان‌های گوشتی مواجهه شده با آنفلوانزای پرندگان (H9N2)

آنفلوانزای پرندگان (AI) یک بیماری بسیار مسری است که باعث خسارت اقتصادی قابل توجهی در سراسر دنیا می‌شود. هدف از این مطالعه ارزیابی تاثیر مانان-الیگوساکارید (MOS) بر دفع ویروس از نای و کلوآک در ماکیان‌های گوشتی مواجهه شده با AI و آلودگی محیط با H9N2 است. تعداد 300 ماکیان گوشتی یک روزه به طور تصادفی به سه گروه (A، B و C) تقسیم شدند و به ترتیب 2/0، 5/0 و 0/0% MOS در جیره توصیه شده توسط NRC برای 36 روز اضافه شد. در روز 21، گروه‌ها به دو زیر گروه A+ve، A-ve، B+ve، B-ve، C+ve و C-ve با 5 تکرار برای هر کدام تقسیم شدند. گروه‌های مثبت به محل‌های مجزا منتقل شدند و به شیوه داخل بینی‌ با 1/0 میلی‌ لیتر ویروس مرجع            (AIV; Pk-UDL/01/08 H9N2) با EID50 = 10-6.66 مواجهه شدند. درمان، دفع ویروس از کلوآک را از روز 24 تا 26 و 28 تا 32 کاهش داد (P<0.05). دفع ویروس از نای در روزهای 25 تا 26 و 28 تا 30 در گروه‌های درمان کمتر بود (P<0.05). روز 27 بالاترین (P>0.05) میزان دفع ویروس در همه گروه‌ها را نشان داد. اگرچه، کاهش دفع ویروس در گروه‌های درمان سریع‌تر بود و در روز 32 دفع ویروسی را نشان ندادند. تیتر آنتی بادی مادری در مقابل AI روند کاهشی را نشان داد ولی MOS تیتر را در گروه‌های درمان تحت تاثیر قرار داد (P<0.05). بنابراین، استفاده از MOS ممکن است جایگزینی جدید و احتمالا مؤثر باشد که انتشار بیماری را با کاهش دفع ویروس و آلودگی محیط از عفونت AI (H9N2) در طیور کاهش می‌دهد.
