Aims: Clostridium perfringens isolated from NE affected broiler chickens was aimed to characterize and the presence of β-lactamase and quinolone resistant genes were also investigated in the isolates. Methods: A total of 224 intestinal and caecal specimens were collected from NE affected broiler chickens and cultured to isolate C. perfringens. The toxicogenic characterization of C. perfringens was appraised using polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and antibiotic susceptibility testing (disc diffusion method). The selected C. perfringens isolates were characterized for β-lactamase and quinolone encoding genes by PCR analysis. Results: All isolates were cultured positive for C. perfringens and the toxin-encoding genes of C. perfringens (α-, β-, β2-, ε-, ι-, and enterotoxin) were also identified. About 65.6% of isolates had a multi-drug resistant (MDR) profile but none of these isolates were resistant or susceptible to all screened antibiotics. A subset of isolates, 160 and 98 were analyzed for β-lactamase and quinolone genes, respectively, and recognized blaTEM, blaSHV, and blaOXA in 64 (40%; CI: 32.35-48.03%; P<0.001) isolates, and qnrB and qnrS in 28 (28.57%; CI: 19.90-38.58%; P<0.001) isolates except qnrA. Conclusion: Therefore, the isolates of C. perfringens were toxicogenic and carried β-lactamase, and quinolone resistance genes. Nowadays, the rational use of antibiotics and safe production of broiler chickens are the major concern to save public health.}, keywords = {Broiler,β-Lactamase,Clostridium perfringens,Antibiotic resistance,Quinolone}, title_fa = {خصوصیات کلستریدیوم پرفرنژنس مقاوم به بتا-لاکتاماز و کینولون جدا شده از جوجه‌های گوشتی مبتلا به آنتریت نکروتیک در بنگلادش}, abstract_fa = {پیشینه: کلستریدیوم پرفرنژنس سبب آنتریت نکروتیک (NE) شده و به عنوان یک هزینه اقتصادی عمده در صنعت پرورش جوجه گوشتی و یک پاتوژن مهم منتقله از راه غذا در سراسر جهان محسوب می‌شود. هدف: هدف، شناسایی کلستریدیوم پرفرنژنس جدا شده از جوجه‌های گوشتی مبتلا به NE بود و ژن‌های مقاومت به بتا-لاکتاماز و کینولون نیز در جدایه‌ها مورد بررسی قرار گرفتند. روش کار: در مجموع 224 نمونه از سکوم و روده جوجه‌های گوشتی مبتلا به NE جمع آوری و به منظور جدا سازی کلستریدیوم پرفرنژنس کشت داده شدند. خصوصیات توکسیکوژنیک کلستریدیوم پرفرنژنس با استفاده از واکنش زنجیره‌ای پلیمراز (PCR) و تست حساسیت آنتی بیوتیکی (روش انتشار دیسک) مورد ارزیابی و بررسی قرار گرفت. جدایه‌های منتخب کلستریدیوم پرفرنژنس با استفاده از PCR برای وجود ژن‌های در برگیرنده بتا-لاکتاماز و کینولون مورد بررسی قرار گرفتند. نتایج: کشت تمامی جدایه‌ها برای کلستریدیوم پرفرنژنس مثبت بود و ژن‌های کد کننده توکسین (آلفا، بتا، بتا۲، اپسیلون، یوتا و انتروتوکسین) شناسایی شدند. حدود 6/65% جدایه‌ها دارای پروفایل مقاومت چند دارویی (MDR) بودند اما هیچ یک از این جدایه‌ها به تمام آنتی بیوتیک‌های غربال شده (بررسی شده) حساس یا مقاوم نبودند. زیر مجموعه‌ای از جدایه‌ها، به ترتیب 160 و 98 مورد برای ژن‌های بتا-لاکتاماز و کینولون مورد بررسی قرار گرفتند و ژن‌های blaTEM، blaSHV و blaOXA در 64 جدایه (40%; CI: 32.35-48.03%; P<0.001) و qnrB و qnrS در 28 جدایه (28.57%; CI: 19.90-38.58%; P<0.001) یافت شدند و qnrA در هیچ یک از جدایه‌ها مشاهده نشد. نتیجه‌گیری: بنابراین جدایه‌های کلستریدیوم پرفرنژنس توکسیکوژنیک بوده و در برگیرنده ژن‌های مقاوم به بتا-لاکتاماز و کینولون هستند. امروزه، استفاده منطقی از آنتی بیوتیک‌ها و تولید سالم جوجه‌های گوشتی، مهمترین نگرانی برای حفظ سلامت جامعه است.}, keywords_fa = {جوجه گوشتی,بتا-لاکتاماز,کلستریدیوم پرفرنژنس,مقاومت آنتی‌بیوتیکی,کینولون}, url = {https://ijvr.shirazu.ac.ir/article_5906.html}, eprint = {https://ijvr.shirazu.ac.ir/article_5906_338922e147cdba026c45eea50d0fd9a1.pdf} }
